April – Be a Credit Union Super Saver at Altra.

Altra is dedicated to financial education, so we will be providing helpful financial tips for the family as well as fun contests and prizes. See details below and visit our AltraKids Facebook page.

  • Financial Literacy Month (All of April)
  • Reading with the Stars (April 11 @ 10:15am / Main Library in La Crosse, WI).
  • Altra will be sending a Superhero to read a financial story to young children and their families. Learning valuable financial tips and concepts are important and relevant at any age. Altra will provide a free gift to all children who attend.
  • Teens and Money Session (April 15 @ 3-4:30pm / Altra’s Operations Center in Onalaska, WI).
  • Attention high school students: Learn valuable financial skills for your future while playing fun games and winning prizes (like cash)! You may even be able to earn extra credit – ask your teacher before you attend. This free session is highly interactive; focusing on Financial Basics, Budgeting, and Credit. Certificate of completion & snacks included. Registration is required; limited to 30 students. Call 787-4500 or 800-755-0055 to reserve your spot.
  • Baby World (April 21 @ 9am-2pm / WTC Lunda Center in La Crosse, WI).
  • Start your baby’s financial future off right with an Altra youth account. Altra along with other area businesses will have essential products and information for you and your growing family. Visit our booth to register for great prizes.
  • National Credit Union Youth Week (April 22-28, 2012 / All Altra Locations)
  • Be a Credit Union Super Saver at Altra in April and win! To celebrate, Altra will be hosting exciting contests, prize drawings, and a new member match for youth.
  • $20 match: Open a new youth account with $20 and Altra will match $20.
  • Prize drawing: Register to win a Nintendo Wii with 2 games (Mario Kart & Superhero Marvel)
